Nightly company
chats
Attention all
work at home members! We are currently scheduling chats for
individual companies. So if you and your team want to hold a chat
that gives information on working with your company, please reply
below. Priority is given to current ThriftyWAHM company
reps.
Company chats will be
held each evening Monday through Friday, starting July 20. The time
for each chat is 8 p.m. - 9 p.m. EST.
HOW TO RESERVE YOUR
CHAT:
- Simply state your company and what date you'd like. (ie, My
Company, July 21). First come first served. You can only reserve
one night at a time, so if you have an upcoming chat scheduled you
can't schedule another until that chat is over. If your company has
already been scheduled by another rep, you are free to participate
in that chat, or wait until that chat is over to
schedule.
- Once you
reply below, and a spot is available, you'll get a confirmation on
your comment page ("my spot" profile page) and your company name
will be listed in our events.
- You will be
responsible for running and moderating the chat. You can bring on
additional moderators, so if there are multiple reps interested,
feel free to get together and coordinate your chat
moderation.
- After the
chat, feel free to discuss companies and
company chats in the WAHM group.
HOW TO RUN THE
CHAT
- You are
responsible for beginning, running and ending the chat.
- (Click the
"Chat" link in the upper menu. It will open up a chat room on a new
page. Do not confuse this with the chat function at the bottom of
the site.)
- To begin,
make sure you're logged into the Main chat room at least five
minutes before your chat is scheduled to begin. Greet whoever is
there and all who enter.
- You may
start your chat in a manner that is comfortable to you. Each
opportunity is different, and each person's way of approching their
business is unique. Some start by just offering info about the
companmy, others may just have a back and forth question and answer
with visitors. Finish your chat at the scheduled ending time by
thanking everyone who attended.
- You can
continue to chat afterwards if there are still people who want to
talk. Feel free to continue the conversation in the WAHM group or
in the forum by answereing any additional questions people may have
about your company.
The
purpose of the chat is to give information on working with your
company to potential team members as well as share business tips
and gain knowledge from others who are working with the
company. No promotion is allowed.

Rules &
Guidelines:
- You must be
a ThriftyWAHM.com member. It's free to join, just register and
create a profile page.
- If there is
a question as to the legitimacy of an opportunity it will not be
scheduled/or deleted from the list of events. Only
LEGITIMATE businesses are allowed to
participate.
- Pushing
promotional material and ads (sales, specials, etc) during the chat
is prohibited, and will get you banned from the site.
- Spamming
participants after or before the chat will get you banned without
additional warning.
- You may
promote the chat by using the share button on the event
page.
